Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital provides safe, effective, innovative and family centered care for children in the Central New York region.

As the Region’s only Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center, Upstate offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth to 19 years of age.

For donations The Upstate Foundation raises over $2 million annually to support sick and injured children cared for at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital. Donations come from lemonade stands, birthdays, individual gifts, community events, local retailers selling icons, tribute gifts, bequests and corporate sponsorships, as well the yearly Radiothon. Money raised goes to support patient comfort items, family needs, the school room, the family resource library, special equipment, clinical research, and programs that would not be available without private funding, such as the important Child Life program.
